I am a journalism major with a business minor at San Jose State University, currently reporting for the Spartan Daily. I am also a steering committee member at The Public Press (www.public-press.org) and an intern at the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. I also host a weekly journalism education chat at CollegeJourn.com. Prior to being a student, I was a copy editor, designer, columnist and sometimes video editor for the Visalia Times-Delta in Visalia, Calif. I was also the editor in chief of both the College of the Sequoias weekly paper, The Campus, and a now-defunct local youth magazine.
