Bio
I am the community engagement producer at Publish2, where I manage networks such as Wired Journalists and do various other online work. I'm also interested in collaboration and curation.
I graduated from the University of Miami with a double major in journalism and political science and Spanish minor. As a junior, I served as editor in chief at The Miami Hurricane.
I've worked as an intern at The Dallas Morning News, Miami Herald, South Florida Sun Sentinel and Forum Publishing Group.
I was twice named one of the top 100 college journalists in the United States for the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 school years by UWire 100 and, along with The Miami Hurricane staff, received a first place SPJ National Mark of Excellence Award in online news reporting during my time as editor of The Hurricane.
