- Dan said: A Feb. 8 attack on Lexington County Deputy Sheriff Ted Xanthakis might have been a gang initiation rite. The attack was carried out by three illegal immigrants, aged 15, 17 and 20, and a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement report identifies two of them as members of the Surenos gang.
